Another great day in South Korea! We started out the day with breakfast on the deck of our hostel as a group. After breakfast, we learned about instructional practices for Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) to prepare for arrival at the school next week! After our coursework we had a break for lunch where we had kimbap (similar to sushi, but with a Korean twist). The kimbap was delicious and of course I paired it with green tea lemonade (I can't get over all the wonderful tea here). Shortly after lunch we took the subway to Gyeongbokgung Palace. The Palace covered a lot of ground and was breathtaking!! We could have easily spent the whole day at the Palace, but we had more to see! After we went to the Palace we visited the National Folk Museum and checked out their wonderful gift shop! We left the Museum and headed back on the subway. For dinner we went to a restaurant next to our hostel and ate beef with squid, ddeokbokki, kimchi, and other traditional Korean food. The jetlag hit me today so I am off to bed early, but excited for tomorrow's adventures! Tomorrow we are going to the National Museum of Korea and a baseball game at night!

The following artifact consists of my self-reflections throughout the various experiences here in South Korea. The most effective way for me to personally share my experiences and growth are through personal journals and pictures. This photo journal was important in documenting my study abroad adventures inside and outside the classroom.
